It’s that time of year when summer is winding down, school is back in session, football is starting and fall is just around the corner…so naturally it is the perfect time for a good Backyard Party! Having friends and family over is a great way to connect, unwind, create memories and have fun!

Don’t let a party be daunting and overwhelming! It really is fun and simple.

Here are our tips and tricks for a great Backyard Gathering…

Make your check list. It doesn’t have to be anything over the top but just the basics. Food, Drinks, Utensils, Plates, Cups, Games..you get the drift!

2. Pull out all your great serving pieces you have and pick what you want to use. It’s fun mixing and matching different textures and styles. That makes for a great tablescape and it’s something people will talk about.

3. Plan your menu and go shopping!! Keep it simple... hot dogs, watermelon, chips and potato salad are always a good go to.

4. Before your guest arrive set the table! A fun way to personalize each setting is to use a wooden gift tag with your friend’s initial. It’s a great way to be personal and your guest can take it home with them!

5. Make sure to pull out some games to play! We love a good card game but anything like dice or dominoes is sure to add fun to any party!

6. When your guest come ENJOY YOURSELF!! Make sure to have fun! A backyard party is supposed to be fun and relaxing!
