Every season, our small-goods craftspeople put their noggins together to come up with a new handmade, seasonal item. You may remember the HDC Pumpkins for Fall or the HDC Nordic Trees this past Christmas.

Of course, like many of our products, the idea started with Rachel and a sketch. Josh, the creator of the Nordic Trees, then turned the sketch into a graphic. After some tweaks, they decided the design of the bunny frame was just right. 

Our Director of Production, Mat, came up with the idea of the bunny portrait and described it to Rachel to paint. Yes. The very detailed photo of the bunny you see was made with a sketch and watercolor paints. Check out the creative process!
