English Breadboard Table Clint was inspired to build this table after a family trip to London. He built it to resemble the old English style tables he saw while abroad It is similar to the HDC table in materials and craftsmanship. Only difference is the curved corners, which make this table stand out and highlight the English inspiration it was born from Made from old-growth pine the 1 1/2″ thick top planks are joined together with tongue-and-groove joinery and the table skirt is joined to the legs with mortise-and-tenon joinery The legs are turned from reclaimed 4×4 pine posts when less than 9ft and 5×5 posts when 9ft or longer to give the table a hefty base If you have a preference you can chose which size leg to go on your table The whole table can be stained the same color (or left natural) & those options are: Antique Brown, Weathered Oak, Rustic Gray, or Early American OR it can have white (distressed) or black legs with any of those finish options on just the top of the table Each table is protected with 2-3 coats of a satin finish water based poly This table is offered from 5’ up to 12’ and the standard width is 40”W We’d like to point out that if you want to be able to slide a bench under, you should order the bench a foot shorter Share the story Tweet on Twitter Pin on Pinterest Share on Facebook
